Soak a large sweet Dongkui bayberry in light salt water for 15 minutes and then rinse with water. -

Put it into a stainless steel pot, add rock sugar and water and cook for 25 minutes. Use a spoon to crush the bayberry pulp in the middle, so that the cooked juice will be sweeter and thicker. -

Strain to remove the pulp. -

Dark red in color and rich in fragrance. -

Sweet and slightly sour.
