Ingredients (9)
- 2 orange and cinnamon tea bags
- 400ml boiling water
- 500ml (2 cups) apple juice
- 125ml (1/2 cup) Fireball Cinnamon Whisky
- 4 strips orange peel
- 1 cinnamon stick
- 6 cloves
- 2 star anise
- 1 kanzi apple, thinly sliced
Method
- Step 1 Place the tea bags in a saucepan. Pour over boiling water. Set aside for 4 minutes to steep. Remove tea bags and discard.
- Step 2 Add apple juice, whisky, orange peel, cinnamon, cloves and star anise to the pan. Stir over medium heat for 5-7 minutes or until hot and aromatic.
- Step 3 Place apple slices in a teapot or large jug. Pour tea mixture over the apple and set aside for 2-3 minutes to infuse.
